We’ve got some who !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , and plenty more who !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! . I realize that my method of handling the scenario below may not have been very mature, but I don’t see it as doing much harm, either.

Even that’s not an excuse; the reason the lights are stacked like that is even if you can’t tell what color they are, you can still be able to determine what to do by their position; Top = Stop, Middle = about to stop, Bottom = Go.

I’d have done the same thing. The person turning knew full well what they were doing, and you were simply managing their expectations. They were expecting they could just get away with it, and you politely let them know that actions such as those fall outside of the bounds of normal driving etiquette.
